Description

Located on the Pomperaug River, this 16 acre park was named in honor of George Bennett, who was involved in conservation activities in the area for many years. Fishing, picnic tables, charcoal grills and park benches are available here. Fires are permitted only in the grills provided.

Rules

These areas are regulated by Southbury ordinances. Parks are open from sunrise to sunset. Carry in, carry out garbage. No camping. No dogs allowed. No alcoholic beverages. No motorized vehicles (including ATVs, snow mobiles). No hunting, no trapping. No removal or destruction of plants, etc. or other damage to the parks.
