Business in Emergency
The SEDC has just recently has met with the Town of Southbury's Director of Emergency Management, Barry Rickert who gave a presentation "Every Business Should Have a Plan".
Here at the Southbury Economic Development Commission we would like to help Southbury businesses in every way we can. FEMA has recommended that all businesses need a backup plan. Not only will it help your business but it will keep your employees on top with useful information as you devise a plan. Make them part of this very important process. "Communication, Cyber, Security, Evacuation or Shelter in Place plans will help you weather any storm". The SEDC has also appointed Jack Zazzaro as a liaison to a Business Continuity Project. Jack is not only a member of the SEDC but he is a business owner as well.
