Description

Sold to the Town of Southbury by John Shortt, this 44 acre parcel connects Janie Pierce Park and Bates Rock Ridge Park. Hiking trails offer many scenic views. Dogs are allowed in this park but they must be on a leash.

Rules

These areas are regulated by Southbury ordinances. Carry in, carry out garbage. Parks are open from sunrise to sunset. No camping. No alcoholic beverages. No motorized vehicles (including ATVs, snow mobiles). No hunting, no trapping. No removal or destruction of plants, etc. or other damage to the parks. Dogs on a leash at all times are allowed. To keep the trails safe and clean for other hikers and walkers, please pick up after your dog. Thank you.
