4/3/2019 - "Long Lost" Screening & Q&A with Local Writer/Actor Erik Bloomquist

“Long Lost,” a thriller filmed in Greenwich by Hartford-based filmmaker Erik Bloomquist, will be shown at Riverview Cinemas on Wednesday, April 3 at 7 p.m.

Erik, who co-wrote “Long Lost,” will be present at the screening for a Q&A following the film.

This is the first feature film by Erik, who created the CPTV original series “Cobblestone Corridor” in 2016 and was named this year in Connecticut Magazine’s “40 Under 40”.

“Long Lost” is about a man lured for a weekend to a secluded mansion with his long-lost brother, whose behavior is unusual. According to Erik, the film is a “character-driven chamber thriller, a little bit sexy but also a puzzle film, a slow-burn movie,” he said. Bloomquist co-wrote the film with his own brother, Carson Bloomquist, and Adam Weppler, who plays the lead. “Long Lost” has been making the film-festival rounds winning acclaim. It won the Audience Choice award and Directors to Watch award at the Eastern Oregon Film Festival among other prizes.
