The Southbury Library will host computer instructor, Mike Ingber, for a talk on basic internet skills on Thursday, February 28th from 2-4 in the Kingsley room.
Internet browsers let us access and enjoy all of the content and information available on the internet. Join us and learn about using the most popular internet browsers (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.) to get around the internet. We will discuss useful browsing techniques and shortcuts, searching for information, using browser tabs, adding bookmarks, setting a home page, staying safe, as well as additional topics. Join us and begin getting more out of your browser!
Mike Ingber is the owner of Upward Business Systems, which has been in business since 1989 and provides expert, reliable, affordable computer consulting services to a large base of clients. Clients include town halls, schools, non-profit agencies, small and medium businesses of all sorts, home users, and senior citizens. Mike received an M.S. Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a B.S. Degree in Computer Science and Applied Math from Stony Brook University.
