Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s office for the Election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
To obtain an absentee ballot, a registered voter must complete an application. Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s office or can be downloaded from the Town of Southbury website at southbury-ct.org/absenteeballots or the Secretary of the State’s website at sots.ct.gov.
Once the completed application is received and verified by the town clerk’s office, a ballot will be provided.
Completed applications may be returned by fax to 203-264-9762, but the original signed application must be returned to Town Clerk’s office prior to the close of polls, in order for the ballot to be counted.
The Town Clerk’s office, 501 Main St. South is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
