The Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued a news release reminding eligible applicants of the December 10, 2018 deadline for physical damage loan applications under CT 15714/15715. Click to view the fact sheet for the SBA Disaster Declaration
SBA’s Administrative declaration was issued as a result of the May 15, 2018 severe storms, tornados and straight-line winds. The following disaster loan programs are available in New Haven, Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield and Middlesex counties:
- Business Physical Disaster Loans: Loans to businesses to repair or replace disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery and equipment. Applications due to SBA: December 10, 2018
- Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL): Working capital loans to help small business, most private non-profits and other eligible entities meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. Applications due to SBA: July 9, 2019
- Home Disaster Loans: Loans to home owners or renters to repair or replace disaster damaged real estate and personal property (which may include debris removal and automobiles). Applications due to SBA: December 10, 2018
