The Southbury Economic Development Commission and the Office of Economic Development is conducting a survey of its local business over the next two weeks. The goal of the survey is to provide feedback regarding the ways that Southbury businesses have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
Several surveys have been conducted throughout the state; what makes this one different is that it aims to gather results focused specifically on the impact to businesses in the Town of Southbury.
Information gathered by the 19 question survey will then assist the town’s economic development director and the commission in the following ways:
- Focusing the distribution of information and resources the business community needs
- Determining where immediate assistance is needed and the severity of short and long-term impacts
- Gain a sense of what is working, and what is not, in the state and federal relief efforts
- Data to support and guide the development of an economic recovery plan for the Town of Southbury
Answers will be held in strict confidentiality and will be used only for the purposes of this survey. The results will be reported in aggregate form only, and cannot be identified individually.
Participation by all the businesses in the Town of Southbury is strongly encouraged. Each business should only take the survey once, for accurate data. The survey will be available to take from April 30 through May 12th.
The survey takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Click to take the survey: www.surveymonkey.com/r/SouthburyCOVID19BizSurvey.
