On June 2nd, the new and improved southburylibrary.org will be launching.
The new website is mobile-friendly and easy to navigate. Library patrons will be able to get the latest updates on services and upcoming events on the homepage. Signing up for programs has never been easier!
Take a look through our “Ebooks and More” page to learn more about the library’s digital catalogs, including the newest addition: TumbleBooks. The “Research” tab has all the library’s digital resources, including Consumer Reports and ResearchIT CT.
Even though many museums and zoos are closed to the public, the “Museum Passes” page is still a useful resource. Many local museums, zoos, and parks have been working hard to provide online resources that can be enjoyed from the safety of your home. For more, there is an extensive list of online activities and resources for all ages linked on the homepage.
Shirley Michaels, chairman of the Southbury Library Board, said the Board is very excited to join in the unveiling of the library’s new, inviting website. “With this introduction, the library is expanding one of our 3 core missions, CONNECTING. We are so proud to bring your library to you in a new and vibrant way. We especially want to thank the library staff for their tireless work these many months creating this friendly and easy to use website. We also give special recognition to Gosia Liedlich and Ray Mather, the Town of Southbury’s IT staff. Please join us. Be part of the Heart of the Community!”
