Description

The town boat launch on Shepaug River features a paved boat ramp and a dock for boat launching. Parking is for Southbury residents only.

Parking

Parking is available to Southbury residents only. Parking is limited, and is first-come-first-serve. Southbury Transfer Station sticker will serve as parking permit. Transfer station stickers may be obtained at no charge by visiting the Transfer Station during their business hours (car registration is required to get a permit).

Rules

• Alcohol and smoking or vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited on Town Boat Launch property.
• Dogs are allowed and must be on leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog.
• Dock is for active loading and unloading only.
• Parking permits (Transfer Station sticker) for the Town Boat Launch are required for each vehicle and available to Southbury residents only.
• Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
• Carry out what you carry in.
