Description

The town boat launch on Shepaug River features a paved boat ramp and a dock for boat launching. Parking is for Southbury residents only.

Parking

Parking is available to Southbury residents only. Parking is limited, and is first-come-first-serve. Southbury Transfer Station sticker will serve as parking permit. Transfer station stickers may be obtained at no charge by visiting the Transfer Station during their business hours.

Rules

• Alcohol and smoking or vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited on Town Boat Launch property.
• Dogs are allowed and must be on leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog.
• Dock is for active loading and unloading only.
• Parking permits (Transfer Station sticker) for the Town Boat Launch are required for each vehicle and available to Southbury residents only.
• Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
• Carry out what you carry in.
