At a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
VOTED unanimously to recommend approval for the 8-24 BOS for the request to purchase property – 34 Lakemere Drive (MBL: 25B/D/1C); subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED unanimously to approve – Hemlock Hills Subdivision (5 lots) at 525 Burr Road and Rocky Mountain Road with Southbury Land Trust stewardship for common maintenance of the open space and the two bridges; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED unanimously to recommend signage approval for 8-3a (b) positive referral to the ZBA Commission for – 1021 Roxbury Road (MBL: 21/76/23), The Church of Saint Latter Day Saints; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED unanimously to recommend signage approval for 8-3a (b) positive referral to the Zoning Commission for – PDD#8 Amendment #23 Southbury Green (MBL: 30/57/6), Shoprite addition; subject to administrative requirements.
