Summer Camp Counselor. Serves as a staff member responsible for youth in the Camp Counselor’s assigned group, and assists in implementing camp program activities, events, and health and safety procedures. Collaborates with other counselors, creates recreational plans and activities, and leads campers in fun-filled projects. Salary is $11.00 per hour, DOE, for up to 35 hours for each of the six weeks of camp. (Summer day camp runs Monday-Friday, June 29 – August 7). Click to view the Camp Counselor Job Description. Summer Camp Site Director. Provides a safe environment for all campers and staff; is responsible to plan, direct and supervise all camp programs and staff and shall oversee pre-camp staff training and on-going training meetings. Salary DOE, for up to 35 hours for each of the six weeks of camp. (Summer day camp runs Monday-Friday, June 29 – August 7). Click to view the Camp Site Director Job Description. Teenscape Summer Camp Counselor. Serves as an adult responsible for a group of teens that travel to a different activity location in the surrounding areas daily. Salary is $11.00 per hour, DOE, for up to 35 hours for each of the six weeks of camp. (The traveling day camp runs Monday-Thursday, June 29 – August 6). Summer Lifeguard. Supervises and ensures the safety of participants during public open swim at Ballantine Pool. Responsible for activity in the pool and on the pool deck at all times when on duty. Monitoring of the spectator area and locker rooms will also be required. Salary is $11.00 per hour, DOE, for up to 40 hours a week. Click to view the Summer Lifeguard Job Description.
