Apply for a Permit
You can now apply for Building and Zoning permits online.
YOU MUST USE CHROME AS YOUR BROWSER TO USE SOUTHBURY ONLINE PERMITTING SYSTEM. If you don’t have Chrome, please download it here: https://www.google.com/chrome.
Apply for a permit* at Southbury Online Permit System.
Southbury’s online permitting system is City Squared. If you already have an account, there is no need to create a new one. If you don't have an account, click Login/Register in the top right corner to register. You will get a confirmation email in order to complete your registration. You will not be able to login to apply for permits until you complete the registration process.
Please contact the Building and Zoning departments for assistance with the new system.
*Please note that if you are applying for a permit that requires Housatonic Valley Health District (HVHD) sign off you need to apply separately with their office. HVHD is located at 77 Main Street South, Suite 205 in Southbury. hvhdct.gov.
