12/6/2025 - Holiday Celebration BE THE LIGHT! We look forward to seeing you at the 26th Annual Holiday Celebration. 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Crafts inside Parks and Recreation building. Last entry into Parks and Rec will be 4:45pm. 5:00pm - 6:00pm: Sensory friendly hour inside Parks and Recreation building. 5:00pm: outside, Town Hall Parking lot: free hot cocoa and sweets, a community sing-along, followed by a countdown to illumination. Food will be available for purchase from Full Bloom Catering Food Truck. Around 6:00pm: outside, Town Hall Parking lot: Santa will arrive on the fire truck. After arrival: Outside Santa and his elf will be available for photos. There may be a surprise visit from the Grinch- keep your eyes peeled! The outdoor program will include a community sing-along, a pathway of lights, illuminating the Holiday Tree, Dreidel, and Kinara, and Santa arriving on the fire truck. Santa will be available for photos for a short time after arrival. Parking will be available at: Town Hall's lower parking lot, Parks and Recreation's parking lot (entrance at 561 Main Street South) Pomperaug Elementary School's parking lot (607 Main Street South) Rochambeau Middle School's parking lot (100 Peter Rd) There will be no parking at Town Hall’s upper parking lot or Firehouse’s parking lot. There will be a designated drop-off area at Town Hall's lower level parking lot, monitored by employees.
