6/14/2026 - Flag Day Ceremony The Town of Southbury will be celebrating Flag Day on June 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Veterans Memorial Green (located between Town Hall and the Parks & Recreation/Senior Center building). Along with the raising of the Flag, this year there will be a display of Revolutionary era flags, and a short talk about the beginnings of the American Flag will be presented by Southbury Town Historian John Dwyer. Also participating will be members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, Southbury Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
