10/10/2026 - Workfworks and Sustainable Southbury "Open Wall" Tour Wolfworks and Sustainable Southbury invite you to our “Open Wall” event on Saturday, October 10th in Southbury, CT. The event features a tour, presentation, and Q+A session of a home currently under construction with two possible attendance times: 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. This free educational event is a unique opportunity to look inside the walls of a high-performance, zero-energy home and learn about how it is built and why it matters. In this event, we’ll explain how building this way creates spaces that are significantly more comfortable, healthy, and durable than every other home on the block. You will realize why every home should, and could be built better, and why that matters, not just to the folks who live there, but as an essential response to the environmental challenges we face. This year’s event is especially meaningful, as it features one of the most unique homes in Wolfwork’s history. See inside this Net Zero Energy Home, built with carbon-storing prefabricated straw structural panels fabricated at Rare Forms (https://www.rareforms.design). This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore the options available if you are considering building or renovating. Our goal is to educate people on what we believe the future of building should look like, and this is one of the most unique and powerful ways for us to do that. Spots are limited, and this event almost always fills up each year, so reserve your spot early if you are interested. Sign up at www.tinyurl.com/mrx3n632. Once registered, Wolfworks will follow up with more day-of-the-event information and directions to the house. ### Event: Workfworks and Sustainable Southbury "Open Wall" Tour Event Date: 10/10/2026 Event Time: Two Start Times 10:30 & 1:30 Admission Fee: Free Registration Deadline: 10/9/2026 Registration Instructions: Sign up at www.tinyurl.com/mrx3n632 Event Organizers/Contact: Wolfworks and Sustainable Southbury | 203-586-9078 Event Location: To be sent after registration Archives
