5/6/2023 - Swan Lake “Swan Lake” is considered one of the greatest of all the classical ballets, the ballet tells the story of a Prince who falls in love with the Princess Odette. Because of a spell cast on her by the evil Von Rothbart, Odette is a swan by day and a woman by night. The two lovers are doomed unless the spell can be broken by the declaration of true and eternal love. The ballet is highlighted by a corps de ballet of swans whose movement and grace are designed to make them look like the elegant and regal swan.
