4/26/2024 - PHS Art Show on April 26-27, 2024 The Annual Region 15 Art Show will be held on Friday, April 26th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Pomperaug High School Gymnasium and All-Purpose room. The event, now in its 36th year, is free of charge and open to the public. Members of the community, students, and families are invited to attend. The event will feature works of art in various media from students in all grades and schools across Region 15. The PHS All Purpose room will also feature a digital art show of students’ work, as well as Advanced Placement and middle school student art enrichment work. “The district-wide art show is an important event in our community, showcasing all of our student artists in one large culminating event,” said Jeromy Nelson, Director of Fine, Applied, and Technical Arts for Region 15. “As you walk through the exhibit you see an evolution of skills and techniques as students move through grades and courses, emphasizing our well-structured art curriculum and highlighting the extraordinary talent in Region 15.
