DECISIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
At their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
(i) VOTED UNANIMOUSLY AND PASSED on the motion made by Commissioner Chairman Teardo; seconded by Commissioner Conti to recommend the approval for the Site Plan Modification: 1450 Southford Road. B-1B Commercial Zone. Conversion of approved use from Happy Days Adult Daycare to Happy Days Creative Arts Center.
(ii) VOTED UNANIMOUSLY AND PASSED on the motion made by Commissioner Chairman Teardo; seconded by Commissioner Conti to recommend the approval for the Site Plan Modification: 2120 River Road, Southbury CT 06488. Planned Utility District (PUD) #201-Commercial. Approval for a previously approved site-plan. Proposed modification to relocate generators and associated switch gear for the ComSat facility.
(iii) VOTED UNANIMOUSLY AND PASSED on the motion made by Commissioner Chairman Teardo; seconded by Commissioner Clark to recommend the approval for the Site Plan Modification: 316 Heritage Road, Southbury CT 06488. B-3 Commercial Zone. Approval for a previously approved site-plan. Proposed modification to construct a new 90x20 square feet storage garage for the CT Water Company treatment facility.
