DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

At their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 the Southbury Zoning Board of Appeals took the following action:

1. WITHDRAWN Application# 25-194-Z: 155 Upper Fish Rock Road, Southbury CT 06488. Andrew Straiton (Applicant/Owner). MBL 25A-61-86, 88, 89. Application for a Variance to Zoning Regulations Section 4.4 Setbacks, Schedule B, Line 8, seeking a reduction to the required yard setbacks in the R-20 zone and Section 13.6, seeking an expansion in height to an existing nonconforming structure.

2. WITHDRAWN Application #26-0330-ZC: 616 Main Street South Southbury, CT 06488. Islam Ahmad (Applicant) / Wallace Curtis Parcell & James William Parcell (Owners) MBL 29B-80-4. Application for a Variance to Zoning Regulations Section 9.3.5, seeking approval to locate (16) sixteen parking spaces within the 40’ setback off of the westerly and northerly property lines abutting a residential zone (R-20). Site plan included.
