DECISIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
At their Special Meeting on Thursday, June 1, 2026 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
- UNANIMOUSLY AND PASSED on the motion made by Commissioner Harrison; seconded by Commissioner Conti to recommend the approval for the Application for Re-Subdivision: 251 Painter Road and Bagley Road, Southbury CT 06488. Seeking approval for the construction of the re-subdivision of Lot 15 to create two (2) parcels for the development of two (2) single family residential homes. Stuart Somers Co; Mr. Andrew Del Negro (Applicant). Site plan as presented.
- VOTED UNANIMOUSLY AND PASSED on the motion made by Commissioner Chairman Teardo; seconded by Commissioner Harrison to recommend the approval for the Site Plan Modification and Special Exception: 800 Main Street South, Southbury CT 06488. Seeking approval for a martial arts studio. Good Fish LLC. (Applicant & Property Owner). ‘World Champion Taekwondo.’ Site plan as presented.
- Lot Line Revision: 1015 Georges Hill Road, Southbury CT 06488. Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Wayne & Justine Louise Kennan Seeking approval for revision of lot line. (Applicant & Property Owner of 1015 Georges Hill Road). Site plan included.
