At a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
VOTED to recommend a favorable response to the Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral - Cameros request to purchase Town Owned land in Berkshire Estates (Map 20B, Block 30, Lots 14-16); subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to forward a denial response to Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral - Barros request to purchase Town Owned land on Lower Fish Rock Road (Map 25A, Block 61, Lot 37).
VOTED to forward a favorable response to the Zoning Commission regarding 8-3a (b) Referral – PDD#20 Riverview Cinema and Playhouse (Amendment #6), General Text Amendment & Detailed Plan Modification – To allow businesses in the basement (lower level) of the building; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to forward a favorable response to the Zoning Commission regarding 8-3a (b) Referral – PDD#8 Southbury Green (Amendment #14), General Text Amendment & Detailed Plan Modification – Installation of a new store front window matching existing and new exterior signage for retail clothing store (Athleta); subject to modifications and administrative requirements.
