6/16/2021 - Planning Commission: Actions Taken at Meeting on June 15, 2021

At a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:

VOTED to approve Site Plan Modification – Southbury Shell (Signage) located at 121 Main street North; subject to administrative requirements.

VOTED to approve Site Plan Modification – Citgo Station (Signage) located at 56 Main Street South; subject to administrative requirements.

VOTED to recommend a favorable response to the Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral – Anderson request to donate property to the Town of Southbury in Berkshire Estates, Fionan Trail ( (Map 19A/, Block 54/ Lots 12-13); subject to administrative requirements.

VOTED to recommend a negative response to the Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral – Anderson request to donate property to the Town of Southbury in Berkshire Estates, Potomac Trail (Map 19A/Block 43/Lot 52); subject to administrative requirements.

VOTED to recommend a favorable response to the Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral – Pendergast (Peach Orchard Estates) request to purchase Town Owned land (Map 12/ Block 2/ Lots 1-17; Map 12/Block 1/Lot 5; Map 12/Block 1/Lot 4); Map 12/Block 1/Lots 12-13); subject to administrative requirements.

VOTED to pass unanimously a negative recommendation to the Board of Selectmen – 8-24 Referral – Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association (SVFA) Lighting Project for Main Street South Fire House.
