The Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 in the Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South, Room 205, at 7:30 p.m. for the following application:
- ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT: Petitioner, Southbury Zoning Commission regarding text change to residential daycare facilities for compliance with Public Act 23-142.
Group and Family Childcare Homes – Petition by the Town of Southbury to amend the zoning regulation text adding “Family Child Care Homes’ and “Group Child Care Homes” under section 3 Permitted Uses by District; add Section 3.3.5 (a,b) Family Child Care and Group Child Care Homes and under Schedule A change line B-11 to allow Family Child Care Homes in all residential zones.
At this hearing, interested persons can appear and be heard and written communications will be received.
