REFERENDUM

Pursuant to Sections 7-6 and 7-7 of the General Statutes of Connecticut registered electors of the Town of Southbury or United States Citizens, eighteen years or older, owning taxable property assessed at $1,000.00 or more on the October 1, 2023 Grand List are hereby notified and warned that the Town of Southbury Budget and the Pomperaug Regional School District #15 Budget will be voted at a referendum. The referendum will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Main Street South Firehouse, 461 Main Street South, from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. to vote by voting machine on the following questions:
QUESTION #1
“Shall the Town of Southbury appropriate $23,663,449 for the municipal budget and approve the Special Revenue Fund appropriations for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025?”
QUESTION #2
“Shall the proposed 2024-2025 budget of the Pomperaug Regional School District #15 in the amount of $87,166,507 be adopted?”
counting of absentee ballots will be in Room 201, Southbury Town Hall,
501 Main Street South, Southbury, CT.
