Inland Wetlands Commission
At their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, the Southbury Inland Wetlands Commission took the following actions:
• APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Application # 1735: 261 Lakemere Drive, Southbury CT 06488. Mr. Nicholas Gunstaferri (applicant/owner). Seeking approval to redo millings on the path that was previously approved when house was built. Additionally add wood guard rail on top part of the path. Plant fescue grass to the area presented in the site plan for stabilization and prevention of soil erosion.
• APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Application # 1736: 1200 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488. Mr. Michael DePompeis (applicant). Seeking approval for replacement of asphalt in the loading and docking area as well as to the existing parking areas. Work to be conducted will include areas near the pond and watercourse on the western portion of the property.
• APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS: Application # 1737: River Road, Southbury, CT 06488. Southbury Department of Public Works, Mr. Blake Leonard (applicant/director). Seeking approval for slope stabilization and do emergency repairs.
