In this presentation, Judge Domenick Calabrese of the Region 22 Probate District will review highlights of Connecticut's new trust laws and estate planning options. Areas covered include reporting requirements, new domestic asset protection trusts, provisions in the new law that increase trust flexibility, providing for successive generations of family members, and more. He will answer questions from the audience during and after this informal presentation directed at non-attorney audiences.
Judge Calabrese has been a Connecticut Probate Judge since 2003 and a Connecticut attorney since 1995. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Probate Assembly; Chairman of the Court Security Committee; a member of the Continuing Education Committee; and Administrative Judge of the Waterbury Regional Children's Probate Court, of which he was a founding judge.
