On December 19, 2018 the Southbury Parks and Recreation Department will launch a new online recreation management website at southbury.recdesk.com. This user-friendly website acts as a portal through which people are able to register for town sponsored programs and activities.
RecDesk allows parents to manage the busy schedules of everyone in their household from one convenient website. They can register their children for camps and programs, upload necessary documents, and securely make payments with a credit card. The new system has a responsive design so it is easy to use it on a computer or any mobile device.
The use of this website is part of an effort by the Parks and Recreation Department to streamline services to the public. It will significantly reduce the amount of paperwork involved in operating programs, camps and leagues throughout the year by allowing the public to fill out and submit digital forms (if needed) and make payments online.
