At 2:00 p.m. today, the Pomperaug District Department of Health Director informed the emergency operations center of the death of a Southbury resident due to the coronavirus disease. The resident was a 75 year old female who passed away on March 20, 2020. The health director was not informed of this information until this morning by state officials.
