The Southbury Farmers Market will open on June 17th and run every Thursday until October 7th. There will be a variety of vendors, many returning and some new, including Mitchell Farm, Itty-Bitty Cookie Company, South Ridge Gardens & Farm, Wave Hill Breads and Three Bridges Coffeehouse. A full list of vendors can be found here. I hope residents take advantage of all of the offerings in support of our local businesses.

We were fortunate enough to host the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony last Monday. It was great to see all of the residents in attendance, and I am glad the weather held up so everyone could enjoy the celebration with family and friends. We have many pictures from the parade and ceremony posted on Facebook that can be found here.

We have had five new additions to our staff this year who have been making significant contributions to the Town. I am grateful to have them on board and look forward to all of the improvements we will be making with their new ideas and skillsets. They are excited to be serving the Southbury community and are available to help anyone who needs it.
