At a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
VOTED and passed unanimously to approve Special Exception, Temporary Soil Extraction Modification – To remove 5,000 cubic yards of existing rock material to grade land located at 1416 Southford Road; subject to modifications and administrative requirements.
VOTED to forward a recommendation of denial to the Board of Selectmen (8-24 Referral) – Cameros request to Purchase Town of Southbury land in Berkshire Estates (Map 20B, Block 32 Lots 21-23; Map 20B, Block 32, Lots 10-14; Map 20B, Block 29, Lots 32-38).
VOTED to forward a favorable recommendation to the Board of Selectmen (8-24 Referral) – Fowler request to Purchase Town of Southbury land in Peach Orchard Estates (Map 12, Block 4, Lot 10); subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to forward a favorable recommendation to the Board of Selectmen (8-24 Referral) – Schmidt request to Donate to the Town of Southbury land in Berkshire Estates (Map 29B, Block 29, Lot 30-31); subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED and passed unanimously to approve a 90-day extension for filing of Mylar map – White Subdivision, Lot 9, 233 West Purchase Road, subject to administrative requirements.
