10/7/2022 - Absentee Ballots Available for November 8, 2022 State Election

Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s Office for the State Election on November 8, 2022.

To obtain an absentee ballot, a registered voter must complete an application. Applications are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or can be printed from the town of Southbury website at southbury-ct.org/absenteeballots or the Secretary of the State’s website at https://portal.ct.gov/SOTS.

Once the completed application is received and verified by the Town Clerk’s Office, a ballot will be provided.

Completed applications may be returned by fax to 203-264-9762 or emailed to townclerk@southbury-ct.org, but the original signed application must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office prior to the close of polls at 8:00 p.m. on November 8th, in order for the ballot to be counted.

Ballots and applications may be delivered in the ballot drop box located at the Town Hall under the porch from the upper parking lot.

The Town Clerk’s Office is located at Southbury Town Hall at 501 Main St. South and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
