The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will conduct a virtual public information meeting concerning the rehabilitation of Bridge Nos. 07042, 07043, 07044, and 07045 on Interstate 84 over various brooks, and the replacement of Bridge No. 07051 carrying U.S. Route 6 and state Route 67 over South Branch Bullet Hill Brook in Southbury on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
The virtual public information meeting is being held to allow the public and local community to offer comments or ask questions regarding the proposed project. These projects aim to address the deteriorated condition of the bridges and bring the structures to a state of good repair.
Off-peak lane shifts and shoulder closures are anticipated to allow for construction vehicles to access the sites from mainline Interstate 84; ramp lane shifts and shoulder closures will be utilized to provide construction access off the ramps. Please click to view Conceptual Project Plans.
The meeting will take place on Zoom, and registration is required. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded. For instructions on how to access the meeting, ways to provide comments, and how to ask questions, please visit http://portal.ct.gov/DOTProject130-186thru190.
This meeting will also be livestreamed on the CTDOT YouTube channel, and no registration is required.
