June is dog licensing month, and owners in Southbury can again take advantage of an easier way to renew.
If your dog was registered last year and the rabies certificate is still current, you can save time by renewing the license through the online portal between June 1 and August 31.
Dog licenses can also be renewed by mail or in person during office hours, (Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-1pm.)

Again this year, if you register your dog in the month of June, there will be a random drawing for tag #1. So be sure to register your dog this month for a chance to own the number one dog tag!
Per State Statute, there is a $1 penalty fee per month when an owner fails to license a dog by the June 30 deadline.
