Effective immediately and until further notice, River Road is closed between Silver Bridge and the Purchase Brook Road intersection due to last week's storm compromising the roadway.
Local traffic ONLY will be permitted to travel from Silver Bridge north to 680 River Road, and from Purchase Brook Road south to 910 River Road (including South Flat Hill Road and Brennan Road). The area between 680 River Road and 910 River Road is closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. See the below map that illustrates the closure.
