At a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 the Southbury Planning Commission took the following actions:
VOTED to approve Re-Subdivision of Willow Creek Estates (PDD#19) for Lot 8/9/10/11 (currently 1 lot) into 4 separate lots; subject to modifications and administrative requirements.
VOTED to approve a Special Exception for a retail store (Alaska Company), 586 Main Street South; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to approve a Site Plan Modification for solar roof panels (Chatfield True Value), 190 Main Street South; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to approve a Site Plan Modification for revision of building signage (John Boyle Decorating Center), 168 Main Street South; subject to administrative requirements.
VOTED to forward a favorable recommendation to the Board of Selectmen for a request to donate land (Arcuri) at 853 Fish Rock Road to the Town of Southbury.
VOTED to forward a favorable response to the Zoning Commission – PA 23-142, an Act concerning certain protections for group and family child care homes.
