Update (4:30pm): All the roads surrounding Exit 14 area are open to traffic.
Update (11:45am): Eversource is on site, the gas leak is under control, and the damage to the pipeline has been mitigated.
However, the scope of the damage will take an extended period of time to repair, and traffic will be impacted. We expect that Exit 14, Main Street South at the intersection of Route 172 and the area near 775 Main Street South will continue to be closed for several more hours. We will continue to update with any changes.
