All Southbury voters who are not affiliated with a political party may apply for an application to fill the vacancies in the office of Justice of the Peace.
To be eligible, you must not and will not have enrollment privileges in a major political party for a period beginning May 1, 2024 and ending on the date of appointment between November 1, 2024 to November 21, 2024.
The term of office is from January 6, 2025 to January 1, 2029.
Applications are available from the Town Clerk’s Office, 501 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday or by phone (203) 262-0657. Applications must be filed by November 1, 2024.
