A joint press conference was held today at Southbury Town Hall with Senator Richard Blumenthal, Catherine Marx, District Director, U.S. Small Business Administration, and Jeff Manville, First Selectman, Town of Southbury, to discuss the passage of the American Relief Act, 2025 which has now funded the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Loan Program. With this funding, which required Congressional approval, the SBA can resume processing urgently needed financial relief for those impacted by natural disasters across the nation, including Connecticut’s Presidential Declared Disaster.
