In honor of the Town of Southbury’s 350th Anniversary, the Arts & Culture Subcommittee of the Economic Development Commission has organized a cookbook project. They are calling on residents to contribute family recipes that will be assembled into a Southbury Community Cookbook and presented at the end of the year. Participants are encouraged to include a brief story about the recipe. Limit is two recipes per household, and recipes must be different categories; for example – one dessert, one entrée. Categories include: appetizers, bread and rolls, soups and salads, vegetables, main dishes, desserts, beverages, and allergy-friendly.
