Description

The town boat launch on Shepaug River features a paved boat ramp and a dock for boat launching. Parking is for Southbury residents only.

Parking

Parking permits are $10 per vehicle and can be obtained by visiting the Parks and Recreation office with proof of residency and vehicle registration. Vehicle registration must show a Southbury Address. Parking permits must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle when that vehicle is parked at the facility. For your convenience, a permit can be obtained by visiting the Parks and Recreation Department Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:00pm or Friday 8:30am-12:30pm, or by appointment. Rules

• Alcohol and smoking or vaping of any kind are strictly prohibited on Town Boat Launch property.
• Dogs are allowed and must be on leash at all times. Please pick up after your dog.
• Dock is for active loading and unloading only.
• Parking permits for the Town Boat Launch are required for each vehicle and available to Southbury residents only.
• Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
• Carry out what you carry in.
