SOUTHBURY IS HONORED WITH SUSTAINABLE CT’S CERTIFICATION

Southbury is among five Connecticut municipalities to be recognized this spring for achieving Sustainable CT certification. Southbury met high standards in a broad range of sustainability accomplishments to qualify for the prestigious Bronze level certification. Read: press release.


OPEN HOUSE

Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Southbury opens its doors on Monday, June 20th!

Having served the region for 10 years their new elegantly decorated studio location features a competition size dance floor and state of the art sound system. Owners, Paulo and Christian and their talented staff invite current and prospective students to stop by from Noon to 9PM that day to tour the new space and celebrate their opening with a champagne toast. A special dance preview, not to be missed is scheduled for 6PM that night.

New studio is between MyEyeDr. and Verizon stores in the Southbury Plaza, 100 Main Street North.

Employee Retention Tax Credits
Tuesday, June 28, 11:00 a.m.

Tax credits introduced with the CARES Act are available to small businesses with 500 employees or less, which means your business may be eligible to receive up to 50% of qualifying wages paid from March 13th to December 31, 2020.
