The Southbury Public Library invites interested teens in Grades 9-12 to join us for a Finals After Hours Event on Monday, June 8 from 5:30-9pm throughout the library.
We’re opening up the whole library from 5:30-9pm just for high school students studying for finals! In addition to all the usual library space and tables on both floors, we’ll also have extra white boards on both floors, snacks, candy, pizza, and cute animals to destress with from 6-8pm!
This event is scheduled to give Pomperaug High School students a head start on studying for their finals, but 9-12th Graders from other schools or towns of residency are also welcome to attend. Likewise, if you are in 9th-12th grade but need time and space to work on other, non-finals related school projects or just want to de-stress with cute animals, you can also join us!
Registration is optional, but will allow us to plan how much pizza and snacks to get, and to be able to send a reminder email; register online or at the Second Floor Circulation Desk of the Southbury Public Library.
