6/16/2026 - The Importance of Connecticut to the Revolution on July 21, 2026

Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 2-3:30pm in the Kingsley Room, join us for a lecture about the impacts Connecticut made in the American Revolution.

Roger Sherman, Benedict Arnold, Israel Putnam, Ethan Allen - all CT heroes during the revolution. Plus, the battles in Danbury, Ridgefield, New Haven, Groton, & New London. Join us as we explore the people and places in Connecticut that made an impact in the American Revolution.

Mike Allen specializes in bringing local history to life, through his background in journalism, radio broadcasting, podcasting and public speaking. Mike is the producer and host of the popular weekly podcast on Connecticut history, Amazing Tales from Off and On Connecticut's Beaten Path.
