10/30/2018 - Teen Craft: Make Your Own Bowtruckle on November 15, 2018

Interested teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join us at 6pm at the Southbury Public Library on Thursday, November 15 to make a Bowtruckle as seen in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Found in the Harry Potter Universe and the Fantastic Beasts film series, Bowtruckles are small, twig-like magical creatures that guard trees of wand-wood quality. Immensely difficult to spot in the wild, Bowtruckles are peaceful and shy unless their tree is threatened.

This program coincides with the Southbury Public Library’s Fantastic Beasts Scavenger Hunt; the winner of the raffle will be announced before the start of the craft.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone in Grades 6-12 regardless of town of residency but registration is required as space is limited. Please call 203-262-0626 ext. 110 to register. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
