12/10/2018 - Teen DIY Memory Jar

Interested teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join the Southbury Public Library for DIY Memory Jars on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4-5pm.

Start your new year off by making a jar to store all the good things that happen to you in 2019! Every time something good happens, or you do something you’re proud of (or thankful for, or anything else you can think of!), you can write it down and add it to the jar throughout 2019. You can either wait until the end of the year, or open it sooner and remind yourself of all the things you did that made you smile! We’ll spend our time together decorating our jars and talking about things we’re excited for in 2019; participants will leave with a decorated jar and some paper prompts to get started with ideas for things to add to the jar.

Like all Southbury Public Library programs, this program is free to attend and open to anyone in Grades 6-12 regardless of town of residency but registration is required as space is limited. Please call 203-262-0626 ext. 110 to register. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
