On Friday, September 27 from 2-4pm, in the Kingsley Room, Mike Ingber will explore the decisions that need to be made when purchasing a new computer at Southbury Public Library.
Are you interested in purchasing a new computer? We will discuss many aspects of making your purchase, including: What type of computer might best suit your needs (desktop vs. laptop, Windows vs. MAC vs. Chromebook, convertible, etc.)? What hardware features are important (RAM, processor, hard drive, optical drive, touchscreen, etc.)? What about security software, productivity software, and extended warranties? Where should I make my purchase and how much should I expect to spend? So come with plenty of questions to this worthwhile presentation! The information that you gain will help you feel more comfortable with making your purchase.
