The Gloria Cachion Gallery at the Southbury Public Library will host artist Linda Banks from Tuesday, December 3, 2019 through Sunday, December 29, 2019.
Linda Banks is a multi-media artisan who owns and operates Banks Art Studio in New Preston, Connecticut. She has taught children’s art in its many forms for 35 years at Washington Art Association as well as multiple after school programs. Linda has taught at Brookfield Craft Center for over fifteen years. She has also taught at Hot Glass Horizons for five years in Corning, New York as well as Portland, Oregon. She has taught at several other locations as well. These include Arrowmont Craft School in Tennessee, Fletcher Farm Craft School in Vermont, Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, Connecticut, Peters Valley Craft Center in New Jersey and many adult education classes as well as private classes in her studio.
Linda has shown and sold her glass and art at Washington Art Association, Brookfield Craft Center, FVAC (Farmington Valley Arts Center), Peters Valley, Fletcher Farm Craft Center, Norfolk Artisans Guild, The Silo in New Milford (Connecticut), The White Silo in Sherman (Connecticut), Canton Art Guild and Canton Clay Works (in Canton, Connecticut), The Hens Nest in Washington CT, Kent Art Association, Western Connecticut State University and many other small places.

The exhibit will be open during regular library hours which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am to 9:00pm, Saturday 9:30 to 4:00pm and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00pm.
