Although the library’s doors are closed, your librarians continue to serve the community.
We are dedicated to helping our patrons stay connected to the world from the safety and comfort of home. We are continually updating our website, our teen Instagram account, and our Facebook pages with resources and activities for all ages.
Visit www.southburylibrary.org for our ever-expanding list of museums and zoos who are offering online tours and programs. Everywhere from the Mark Twain House and Mystic Aquarium to the San Diego Zoo are offering online experiences for all ages.
As always, we have ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, and more through Hoopla, Overdrive/Libby, and RBDigital. Hoopla has recently introduced 1000+ Bonus Borrows that do not count towards your monthly limit. We have a new service called TumbleBooks, which does not require a library card number. TumbleBooks is a collection of databases with a wide variety of ebooks and audiobooks for all ages. We also have various research resources such as Consumer Reports, Ancestry, and ResearchIT CT. For all of these resources and more, visit our Online Resources page.
For assistance with our online services or any of your reference questions, email Chris at email@example.com or give the reference desk a call at 203-262-0626 ext 130.
If you do not already have a library card, you can now apply for an electronic card via the link on our website’s homepage or by calling 203-262-0626 ext 123.
If you already have a card, you do not need to apply for an electronic card. If your card has expired or if you’ve forgotten your card number, give us a call at 203-262-0626 ext 123 or email Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you access your card.
To All of Our Patrons:
We miss you!
Stay safe and stay well.
