The Gloria Cachion Gallery at the Southbury Public Library will host artist John Kildahl, from Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 through Thursday, January 28th, 2021. John’s life as an actor, traveler, musician, seeker and artist has contributed to Silent Song, a black and white reflection of isolation, abstraction, and whimsy with various mediums. Silent Song was a vision that began two years ago for a solo exhibition.

Kildahl’s work has been exhibited at the Washington Arts Association and the Art Gallery at the Mill. His piece Scrabby was accepted into the upcoming juried show, “Printmaking on the Edge” at The Art Center in Dover NH. This show can be viewed in person or virtually at theartcenteronlinegallery.com. His work is owned by art collectors throughout the United States.

With John’s background in choral training, on Broadway and regional theatre, he has created three, one-man musical shows. The most recent show, “Hobo’s Journey”, was performed locally at Art’s Escape in Southbury, CT.

John resides in Woodbury, CT with his wife Terry and their dog Lakota. Terry and John have 8 grand Nutmeggers.
